This body of work stems from abstract
painting. Colour is lifted from the picture plane and given
spatial form.
Based on urban themes the installation tries to challenge
our experience of painting. Recycling low tech materials
the artist strives to create a poetic environment.
Architecture, urban layouts, city textures, aerial views,
object design all play a part in the formation of the work
which comes together as a penetrable environment. |
