The irish artist Ann Mc Cormick
is based in Berlin since 2006.
My work explores on a visual
level the media of painting, print and installation with a
concern for the spatial arrangement.
With references to art history (Bauhaus, Marcel
Duchamp, Richard Diebenkorn, Monika Brandmeier) the underlying
theme is a questioning of the workings of perception.
On a more social level the installation is about our engagement
with a structured spatial environment - is there any unstructured
space? (Nature - art). |
